Beyond Measure: The Next Chapter of the Untold Story

Much like the boundlessness of our natural world, every single one of us is rich in something that cannot be quantified. The journey our clients take from death to life, from feeling hopeless to being leaders in their homes and communities—that journey cannot be quantified. Every client displays resilience, courage, and hope beyond measure.

Over the next three years, our 2025-2027 Beyond Measure Campaign aims to unleash the unique potential of every person who encounters the work of Untold. We want our program to reflect and enhance the unique strengths of the men and women we serve. Moving forward, our tailored approach to programming will create even more pathways to flourishing for our clients, their families, and their communities.

During this campaign, we will double down on our calling to embrace and equip people to live a life beyond AIDS. We desire for every member of the Untold community to be a contributor, not just a consumer. If we all give from our abundance, we can create a world beyond AIDS and impact beyond measure.


Strategic Planning

At Untold, we continuously strive for excellence in our work. While we’ve seen quantifiable success in our past 18 years of ministry, the program that served clients well a decade ago must adapt to serve today’s world. In preparation to implement programmatic changes that deliver the best outcomes, we began the most rigorous and participatory planning process in our history in early 2024. Throughout the learning and listening, we covered the process in prayer and discernment.

There were a few strong themes that came up in every stakeholder group, namely:

+ The opportunity to redesign our approach to economic empowerment for clients

+ The opportunity to expand certain services related to physical and mental health

+ The opportunity to further tailor the program to meet the specific needs of clients

+ The opportunity to enhance client and staff feedback processes


Campaign Goals

The Beyond Measure campaign has four overarching goals:

  • Enhance our program offerings and graduate 20,000 more clients

  • Establish our work in Johannesburg, South Africa

  • Secure the future of Untold by investing in leadership and financial health

  • Complete construction on phase one of our Nairobi campus

These four high-level goals will be actualized through 12 key strategies that will help us Serve Clients More, Serve More Clients, Invest to Lead, and Invest to Last. Some strategies will deliver immediate impact, while others strengthen our long-term sustainability.
