Molly’s Story: When the Word of God Came Home
When Molly joined the Untold program in May 2024, change began quietly but it reached all the way to the foundation of her life.
For years, her home had not been a place of peace. Arguments were constant, fear was familiar, and her sense of self-worth had quietly eroded under the weight of it all. She had grown used to surviving, but not to thriving.
Through Untold's counseling and group therapy, that began to shift. She found a safe place to process what she had carried alone and to slowly rebuild her confidence. The fear that had gripped her began to loosen. Courage began to take its place.
Then came July 18 — the day she received a Bible through the program. It was, by her own account, the turning point.
She began reading it daily. As she did, something in her heart softened and filled with hope. The following Sunday, she walked into church to seek God. What happened next surprised her completely: her husband came with her. And when the offering was taken, he gave— something he had never done before.
In her own words:
"Before I came to the Untold program, my husband and I were quarreling every day about things that didn't even make sense. I had been living without peace for so long. But when I came to Untold, through counseling and group therapy, my life began to change. The fear went away and I gained courage. The climax came when I received the Bible on 18th July 2024. I started reading the Word of God and it gave me hope and peace in my heart. The following Sunday, I went to church to seek God— and surprisingly, my husband joined me and gave me an offering. It was like a miracle to me. Since then, my house has been peaceful, and this has encouraged me to read the Word of God all the time. Thank you to that person whom God has used to bless us with the Bible that has changed my life, my being, and my family. May God bless you with more life to see what God has used you to do."
From that Sunday forward, their home slowly transformed. Tension gave way to calm. Conversations that once ended in conflict began to end in understanding. Respect grew between them where resentment had lived before. What had felt like a broken relationship began, piece by piece, to heal into something new— a partnership, and a family centered on faith.
Molly says peace now lives in her house. Their story is no longer defined by what they endured, but by what God did in the middle of it— proof that with support, courage, and the living Word, even the most wounded relationships can be made whole.
